SIMILITUDES OF ISRAEL from 1978

And I that am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make
thee to dwell in booths. as in the days of the solemn feast. I have also
spoken by the prophets. and I have multiplied visions. and used similitudes.
by the ministry of the prophets...And Jacob fled into the country
of Syria. and Israel served for a wife. and for a wife he kept sheep. And
by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was
he preserved. (Hosea 12:9-13)

In the book of Genesis. chapters 29 through 47, we find the stories
of Jacob and how he served Laban. his uncle. for the hand of Rachel. his
younger and most beautiful daughter. (In similitude, we read,...and as
the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride. so shall thy God rejoice over
thee. Isaiah 62:5) of how Laban beguiled Jacob by giving him Leah his
eldest daughter instead. (In similitude. Then I said, I have labored in
vain. I have spent my strength for nought. and in vain...Though Israel
be not gathered. yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord...I
will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles. that thou mayest be my
salvation unto the end of the earth. Isaiah 49:4-6)

Later Jacob got Rachel (Israel) and Leah (the Gentiles) and by them
and their handmaids he fathered the twelve Patriarchs, one of whom,
Joseph was loved by Jacob, but despised by his brothers, who also sold
him into bondage to get rid of him. However God was with Joseph and got
him glory and power in the land of Egypt, and when there was a great
famine in Israel, and Joseph's brothers came down to enquire of the food
that Egypt had, Joseph disguised himself to his brothers and they
took him for a cruel Egyptian. (In similitude, And I will wait upon the
Lord, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for
him. Isaiah 8:17) Who can forget the touching story of how Joseph was
revealed to his brothers, holding back tears of love? And how lavishly
he sent them back to Jacob! (In similitude, Ho. everyone that thirsteth,
come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy,
and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price
...Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live,
and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies
of David. Isaiah 55:1-3; But remember also what happened to the brothers
as they were sent back to their father, they were set up with false accusations
of stealing their own money back, the evidence being found in their sacks
several times and lastly Joseph's own golden cup. What are the Jewish people
being accused of today? Right after this, salvation was revealed to them!
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they
have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son,
and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Zechariah 12:10)

Oh! No! You might say, Is he talking about Jesus the Nazarine? Why!
the Christians are the ones who have slaughtered the Jews, besides one
has to quit being a Jew to become a Christian, no? Let me give you another
similitude, Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew
not Joseph And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve
with rigor Exodus 1:8-22 Who are they that know Jesus? My mother and
my bretheren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.Luke 8:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven. Matthew 7:21

Must one turn his back on 6,000 years of tradition to become a believer
in Jesus as Messiah? Jesus said, We know what we (the Jews) worship:
for salvation is of the Jews. John 4:22, also in Matthew 19:17-19 Jesus
says, There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter
into life, keep the commandments...Matthew 22:37 Thou shalt love the Lord
thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind...
Matthew 19:18 Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father
and mother: and Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Acts 15:20 ...
abstain from pollutions of idols, and fornication, and things strangled,
and blood. Acts 19:26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus,
but almost through out all Asia, this Paul (an apostle of Jesus) hath
persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which
are made with hands: John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

Remember also that for a long time Rachel (the Jews) was barren, but
later she gave birth to Joseph and Benjamin. The children of Israel totally
rejected Moses at first, not wanting that man to rule over them, but Moses.
who was chosen of God, did rule over Israel in the end. Ye men of Israel, ...
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers,
hath glorified His Son Jesus: whom ye delivered up,...And killed the Prince
of life, whom God hath raised from the dead: whereof we are witnesses...
And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance ye did it,...But those
things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that
Christ should suffer, He hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be
converted, (from sin to holiness) that your sins may be blotted out,...Unto
You (Israel) first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless
you, in turning away everyone of you from his iniquities. Acts 3:12-26

I hope now, that what I have shown from Scripture has proven to you
that the faith of Jesus is by no means a Gentile religion as you supposed.
That many, many Gentiles down through the ages who have used the name of
Jesus, have not truly known Him, but have let another king rule their
hearts (Satan). There is an Halachic code for Christians, which God has
promised to write in our hearts (Jeremiah 31:31-34). We get this by being
born again (St.John 3). We need a blood offering for our past sins (Lev.
17:11). We have this only in Christ (St. John 1:29),Behold the Lamb of
God, which taketh away the sin of.the world.

The God of Israel has always shown His presence by miracles, do those
who follow Jesus work miracles? Mark 16:15-20 And He (Jesus) said unto
them (His followers), Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to
every creature. He that believeth and is baptized (under water) shall be
saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall
follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they
shal~ speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpants (to destroy);
and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall
lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover... All these things are
free gifts from God, for the sake of His Son Jesus, which we can have
when we turn our whole heart to God and do His Will.

I urge you to search the Scriptures further, to see if these things
are so. Don't rely on the traditions of man, but on what saith the Lord!
Even if you can't find a church group who believes this way, you can go
it alone like Moses if need be. May the Grace of God be with you.

  1. I'm rightly confused, David. I'm not Christian so I'm used to the direct Hebrew text. Again, I don't find this at all offensive but of course I respectfully maintain my own beliefs, including that the Messiah is yet to come.

    1. Would you belive I'm only now (5/9/2012) finding your comment? I'm so used to no comments, that I don't look for them. But I'm in the process of promoting on a trial basis & found your note, I remember you telling me you read this. I was just thinking of this Similitude thing the other day & thought of all of man as brothers and they were going to kill Joseph (if he could represent the Jewish people) but some of the other brothers prevented that, but Joseph was still sold out into slavery, & became the head of Egypt which was a super power of the time. Hitler's bunch tried to destroy Israel, but was prevented & now Israel is quite good at modern warfare & technology, just as Joseph was in his day. If that played out...
